Brest Economic Forum-Workshop “Strategic Partner – China”

On October 9, the Brest Economic Forum-Workshop “Strategic Partner – China” was held in Brest.

The event, organised by the Brest branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, brought together over 120 representatives of the real economy from across the country interested in cooperation with China, and over 20 Belarusian and Chinese expert speakers.

The objective is to discuss, through a lively and open dialogue, purely practical aspects of trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and China, offer businesses truly effective tools and solutions in today's rapidly changing world, and find new partners and new areas of work.

Why isn't it always possible to achieve goals, quickly and effectively implement agreements, and win consumer interest in our products in the Chinese market? The answer from our Chinese colleagues was simple: work, work hard, and everything will work out.

The dialogue was very open, constructive, and mutually supportive, and the atmosphere was truly friendly and warm.

One of the key components of the event was its cultural component, which was so vividly and uniquely presented by the students and teachers of the Confucius Institute of Brest State Pushkin University.

And while not all problematic issues have been resolved yet, and we still have a long way to go in learning each other's mental and cultural code, steps in this direction are being taken with increasing confidence and certainty.
