01_12_93.jpgPresenting the candidacy of Mikhael Miatlikov, Igor Nazaruk, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, expressed confidence that the experience gained by M. Miatlikov during his time in office of the BelCCI Chairman, along with the diplomatic experience, would provide a new impetus to the Chamber activities.

In his address, Deputy Foreign Minister noted that foreign economic format has changed recently, as well as key approaches to the implementation of foreign trade contracts; there is increased competition observed in all regions of the world. In this situation, difficult tasks of reorientation in new conditions, building new business relationships, new logistics chains, finding alternative export routes are ahead. Together, the MFA and the BelCCI need to look for new approaches, improve and optimize business support mechanisms based on the real needs of enterprises.

01_13_93.jpgDenis Meleshkin, Deputy Chairman of the BelCCI, reported on the results of the work of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Presidium in 2021.

He emphasized that the last year, during which the business community was faced with the challenges and changes, was defined by the BelCCI as a year of new opportunities rather than a year of restrictions and conservation. The Chamber had to change its plans unpredictably, develop new approaches promptly to support exporters, and look for new forms of work. However, not only the BelCCI continued its stable work, but also managed to ensure sustainable development in almost all areas.

Denis Meleshkin pointed out that it is especially important for the Chamber to work in conjunction with the business community, remaining faithful to the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry motto – "Successful business. Strong country".

01_14_93.jpgSvetlana Grebentsova, Chair of the BelCCI Audit Commission, reported on the results of the financial activities of the Chamber in the past year.

01_02_93.jpgThe Council members discussed the BelCCI activities in 2021, identified the key directions for the current year, which marks the 70th anniversary of the Chamber, as well as set strategic tasks for the coming period.

Heads of Belarusian enterprises noted the effectiveness of the Chamber's work with its members, the relevance of creating platforms for business dialogue, the introduction of new services to support exporters, presented proposals for improving the activities of the BelCCI, told about the peculiarities of their activities in modern conditions, those problematic issues they had been faced with during their international activities; they also presented their own projects implemented due to the BelCCI support.
