About 130 representatives of private business and government agencies gathered in Minsk to participate in the seminar “Electronic Commerce – a Tool for Promoting Belarusian Goods,” organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The seminar is devoted to the most important aspects of using electronic platforms to promote Belarusian goods in the international arena. The seminar will cover the topics of selling Belarusian goods through Wildberries, developing the Made in Belarus project, and using electronic platforms to develop exports.
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhail Myatlikov, as well as the First Deputy Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus Ivan Vezhnovets.
The Deputy Minister noted that there are about 30 thousand online stores and almost 20 thousand business entities registered in our country that are engaged in e-commerce. In two years, e-commerce has doubled. In this regard, it is correct to talk about how our manufacturers are positioning themselves in the new form of trade. "We are poorly represented there, we need to go there more actively, and the producers themselves," Ivan Vezhnovets emphasized.
The event was held with the support of Sberbank and Wildberries.
