BelCCI participates in the International Chamber of Commerce Summit in Kenya

A delegation of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry headed by its Deputy Chairman Elena Malinovskaya is working at the regional summit organised by the International Chamber of Commerce. The event takes place from 9 to 11 April in Nairobi, Republic of Kenya.

The delegation took part in the opening ceremony of the summit by the President of the Republic of Kenya William Ruto, as well as in the work of thematic sections of the event.

In addition, negotiations were held with John Denton, Secretary General of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). Elena Malinovskaya presented information about the activities of the BelCCI, which is a member of the ICC, and outlined her vision of ways of further cooperation with this organisation.

In turn, Mr Denton welcomed the openness of the BelCCI to joint work with the ICC on topical international issues. The parties agreed to continue substantive dialogue in various formats, including taking into account the upcoming World Congress of Chambers of Commerce in September 2025 in Melbourne, Australia.

The meeting participants also agreed to explore options for cooperation within the framework of the ICC's Initiative on Standards for Digitalisation of Foreign Trade Documents.
