Business visit to Tianjin, China

In the period from 4 to 9 March 2024, a visit of the business community of the Republic of Belarus to Tianjin, People's Republic of China, organized by the unitary enterprise “Mogilev Branch of the BelCCI” with the assistance of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Tianjin Sub-council took place with the aim to visit the 20th international exhibition CIEX Tianjin Industry Expo and the development of Chinese-Belarusian relations in the field of mechanical engineering.

The delegation included 4 enterprises (7 people): OJSC “Bobruisk Machine-Building Plant”, “PA Energokomplekt” LTD, OJSC “TAiM”, OJSC “Mogilevtorgtekhnika”.

During the visit, negotiations were held with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Tianjin Sub-council and the Chinese company “BMT International Co., LTD” to facilitate the purchase of Chinese equipment, bypassing sanctions. A visit to the large machine-building plant “Tianjin First Machinery Company” and the state-owned cable and cable equipment manufacturing company “Tianjin Tianlan Electro-Technical Machinery Co., LTD” was also organized. Members of the delegation exchanged contacts with Chinese companies and discussed the possibility of further cooperation regarding the supply of Chinese equipment and components to Belarus.

The result of the visit was the signing of the Agreement of intent by OJSC “TAiM” for cooperation with the Chinese company for the production of automobile air conditioners and components “Wuxi Xintengyue Auto Parts Co., LTD”.
