Companies from Belarus are taking part in the 8th international exhibition Rebuild Syria, which opened on September 27 in Damascus. The country is represented by Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1, PA "Energoсomplekt" and Minsk Automobile Plant. The enterprises present their products and services, as well as participate in the business program.
Rebuild Syria is a specialized international exhibition event aimed at attracting foreign companies from various industries and spheres of activity to participate in the projects of reconstruction of the Syrian economy by offering their products and services and establishing business relations with potential Syrian partners.
The Republic of Belarus traditionally takes part in this event, presenting its exposition at the exhibition.
The Belarusian companies' participation in the international exhibition Rebuild Syria has been organized by "Belinterexpo" exhibition enterprise of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
On the first day of the exhibition, the Belarusian stand was visited by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Syria Yuri Sluka, Minister of Public Works and Housing of Syria Suheil Abdel Latif, representatives of Syrian organizations and heads of Syrian companies. The guests of honor highly appreciated the Belarusian products and services presented at the exhibition.
Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1 presents to Syrian consumers its range of dairy products, which are in high demand in the region. The first contracts were already signed on the opening day of the exhibition. Minsk Dairy Plant № 1 signed an agreement with a Jordanian company on supplying skim milk powder and whey to the markets of Jordan, Libya and Iraq.
Minsk Automobile Plant, which is one of the flagships of the automobile industry of Belarus, offers to familiarize with the model range of manufactured vehicles. The vehicles produced by the plant are designed for a wide range of works and are suitable for operation in Syrian conditions.
Production Association "Energoсomplekt", the leading enterprise in Belarus for the production of cable and wire products, brought to the exhibition a wide range of manufactured products.
Made in Belarus exposition within the framework of the 8th International Exhibition Rebuild Syria will continue its work until October 1.
Ahead of the exhibition opening, on September 26, the Damascus Provincial Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a meeting of the Belarusian delegation with the President of the Damascus Provincial Chamber of Commerce and Industry Osama Mustafa. At the event, the parties discussed cooperation, emphasizing the high quality of Belarusian companies' products and good potential for promotion in the Syrian market.
