The Plan of joint actions of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus to promote foreign trade in 2024 was signed by the Chairman of the BelCCI Mikhael Miatlikov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Igor Nazaruk at the Chamber Presidium meeting.
The Plan defines the main directions and forms of cooperation of the two organizations to promote foreign economic activities of Belarusian enterprises and organizations.
In particular, the BelCCI and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will jointly hold events with the participation of representatives of diplomatic missions and Belarusian business, organize business visits abroad, as well as receptions of foreign delegations, participate in the organization of business events abroad, including as part of highest and high-level visits, meetings of intergovernmental commissions on trade and economic cooperation. Particular emphasis in this work will be placed on the development of new promising markets for Belarusian products, the expansion of trade and economic relations with the far arc countries.
In addition, the Plan provides for joint participation in the work of business councils with foreign countries, the development of the institution of the BelCCI representatives, strengthening interaction between the BelCCI and the MFA in the field of exhibition and fair activities, holding information and educational events for Belarusian exporters on expanding foreign economic relations and promoting products to particular countries and regions.
The signing of the document is an important step in strengthening partnership relations between the BelCCI and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which will improve the efficiency of foreign economic activities of domestic enterprises and organizations.
