Presentation of the opportunities of the FEZ "Bishkek"

The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a presentation of the Free Economic Zone "Bishkek", the largest FEZ of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Representatives of 16 Belarusian enterprises and organizations, including heads and specialists of the FEZ "Minsk" administration, business associations, companies from the spheres of electronics and instrument engineering, mechanical engineering, securities, light industry, legal and transport and logistics services, expressed interest in using the opportunities of the free economic zone to expand partnership with Kyrgyz business.

The participants of the presentation were welcomed by Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhael Miatlikov.

General Director of the FEZ "Bishkek" Umbriel Temiraliev presented detailed information on the functioning and potential of the free economic zone, the opportunities for Belarusian-Kyrgyz business partnership and implementation of joint projects on the FEZ territory, as well as on the country's investment policy in general.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Belarus Erbol Sultanbaev told the Belarusian participants about the economic situation in Kyrgyzstan and promising areas for expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
