Reception in the Republic of Belarus of the Counselor of the Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania in the Russian Federation and the CIS countries, Mr. Joshua John Magigita

During the period from 18 to 21 March, the Counselor of the Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania in the Russian Federation and the CIS countries, Mr. Joshua John Magigita visited the Republic of Belarus. The reception in Belarus was organized by Mogilev branch of the BelCCI as a continuation of the visit of Belarusian enterprises to Tanzania in January 2024.

As part of the visit, Mr. Joshua John Magigita visited a number of Belarusian enterprises in Minsk, Vitebsk and Mogilev, which were interested in establishing cooperation with the African region.

During his meeting on 21 March with the Director General of Mogilev branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Henadz Chorny, he outlined further steps for interaction between Belarusian and Tanzanian enterprises, including the organization of a series of online negotiations on the supply of Belarusian products to Tanzania, the reception of a delegation from Tanzania in Belarus in June as part of the Belagro exhibition, as well as a visit of Belarusian enterprises to Dar es Salaam in September 2024, organized by Mogilev branch of the BelCCI and the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Tanzania with the assistance of the Embassy of the United Republic Tanzania in the Russian Federation and CIS countries.

Also during the visit to Mogilev, the Council had an opportunity to get acquainted with the cultural component of the Republic of Belarus.
