Strengthening Cooperation with Russian Regions

From June 2 to 4, 2026, delegations from Bryansk and Lipetsk regions of the Russian Federation visited the Republic of Belarus. The main goal of the business mission was to find partners that matched their business interests and to participate in the Belagro International Agro-Industrial Exhibition.

During the visit, Mogilev branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized and held bilateral meetings and negotiations for Russian entrepreneurs in Minsk and Mogilev, as well as at the Bryansk Region's collective stand at the exhibition. Discussions focused on all key areas of the agricultural sector: livestock and crop production, agricultural engineering, construction, and related industries. The parties exchanged contacts, noted a high level of mutual interest, and agreed to continue active cooperation. During the business mission, the delegation also visited and held talks with the management of the Institute of Meat and Dairy Industry, the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus, the Sosedi retail chain, and several other Belarusian enterprises and organizations. All participants expressed their willingness to engage in practical cooperation and exchange experience.

In Mogilev, Lipetsk delegation was given a tour of the Mogilev Region Glory Museum and the Buinichskoye Pole Memorial Complex.

The visit was an important step in strengthening economic ties between the regions and creating new platforms for joint projects. It is expected that the agreements reached will serve as impetus for the further development of bilateral cooperation.
