Belarusian berries are sent to Serbia

Fr om January 28 to February 1, 2025, a visit of Belarusian business circles to Belgrade (Republic of Serbia) took place, organized by the Mogilev branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Serbia. 6 domestic enterprises took part in the event.

The Belarusian delegation visited the leading trade fair “Agro Belgrade” in Belgrade, wh ere they held a number of negotiations with producers of frozen berries, agricultural machinery and equipment, as well as with employees of plant nurseries.

Together with the Serbian-Russian-Belarusian Friendship Society, meetings and negotiations with city leaders were organized in the city administration of Cacak and the municipality of Arile, as well as visits to agricultural enterprises in the region.

As part of the planned events at the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Serbia, the delegation met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Serbia and part-time to the Republic of North Macedonia Sergei Malinovsky. The participants discussed issues of Belarusian-Serbian trade and economic cooperation.

Also during this meeting, B2B negotiations took place with the participation of representatives of Serbian business, associations and organizations. Belarusian business entities held presentations, exchanged contacts with potential partners and discussed prospects for further cooperation.

As a result of the visit, a contract was concluded for the supply of Belarusian berries to Serbia.
