The events within the framework of the BelCCI Chairman's visit to St. Petersburg

Within the framework of his visit to St. Petersburg, the Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhael Miatlikov took part in the fourteenth meeting of the Business Cooperation Council of the Republic of Belarus and St. Petersburg.

The Council is headed by Roman Golovchenko, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, and Alexander Beglov, Governor of St. Petersburg, who co-chaired the meeting.

The agenda of the meeting included discussions of the results and prospects of the development of trade and economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and St. Petersburg, in particular, the interaction in the industrial sphere and implementation of joint projects, cooperation in housing and utilities, transportation, medicine and pharmaceuticals, science.

Besides, before the start of the Russian-Belarusian business forum "Union Horizons. Dialogue Belarus – St. Petersburg" a separate meeting between the Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the President of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Katenev was held with the participation of Chairman of the Board of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange Alexander Osmolovsky and heads of St. Petersburg organizations. The parties discussed the prospects of interaction between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry and business organizations in order to promote the interests of the business community, support trade, economic and cooperative ties.
