On September 19, 2025, as part of a unified information day, a meeting of the staff of Mogilev Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry was held on the topic: "National Unity Day: The Importance of Peace and Harmony."
National Unity Day is one of the most important holidays in the Republic of Belarus, whose significance only grows with each passing year.
The reunification of Western Belarus and the Byelorussian SSR occurred as a result of the Red Army's campaign on September 17, 1939. From that day on, a new era began for Belarusians, laying the foundation for the successful development of a sovereign and independent Republic of Belarus. This date symbolizes the restoration of historical justice for the Belarusian people.
By Decree No. 206 of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated June 7, 2021, September 17 was designated a public holiday – National Unity Day.
