In continuation of the agreements reached at the Belarus-Pakistan Business Forum on November 25, members of the Belarusian delegation met with Atif Ikram Sheikh, President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Pakistan.
Mr. Ikram also heads Pakistani enterprises that import vegetable oil, deal with metal products and real estate. Negotiations on cooperation with Belarusian business were held, resulting in the signing of a memorandum on the export of Belarusian rapeseed oil to Pakistan.
A number of negotiations took place with the participation of Zhurabek Kirgizbekov, the representative of the BelCCI in Pakistan, and heads of Pakistani enterprises on the supply of food products from the Republic of Belarus, as well as negotiations on such areas as the production of electrical products, import of metal and copper merchandise from Pakistan, cooperation in the field of pharmaceuticals and others.
In addition, the parties concluded a memorandum on the supply of rice from Pakistan to Belarus, and considered the possibilities of cooperation between BKM HOLDING and Pakistani partners in the production of Belarusian electric buses.
